Personalized Monopoly Game

Monopoly is the top selling board game in the entire world. It is sold in over 103 countries and you can buy many versions, from Spongebob Monopoly to Star Wars Monopoly.

Now you can also make your own personalized Monopoly. There are a couple of different versions where you can personalize your game and make it entirely your own. Which version you choose depends on how much work you'd like to put into it and how much money you'd like to spend.

The Make Your Own Opoly game comes with everything you need to make your own personalized Monopoly game. Included is the software for printing, labels, paper, gameboard, colored pawns, dice, and instructions for producing it all.

Personally, this sounds like a lot of work for me, but it's a low cost alternative that you can say you made all by yourself for either a friend or a selfish treat.

Some items to note about this game:

• As I noted before, putting all of this work in will take some time. Be ready or plan ahead if you have a deadline.
• There are no "Go To Jail", "Jail", or "Free Parking" spaces on the board. They have been replaced with generic alternatives.
• Houses and hotels have been spared in this version which could make for a long and painful game since you can't increase property values.
• Update the software before you start. The game ships with an older version and if you don't update, your game may land up being printed in British Pounds.
• There are only 9 squares on each side of the board.

All in all, keep in mind that there were probably some copyright issues when this game was produced so it cannot be exactly the same as Monopoly which could be a problem if you are a die hard fan. Overall it's a great concept though.

Photo-Opoly is a little bit different from Make Your Own Opoly and the game play seems a little closer to the original Monopoly version. You are able to add 22 of your own photos to the game board in order to personalize it.

Some items of note about this game:

• Plenty of extra labels are included in case you screw up. The stick on paper also peels off in case you screw up or need to adjust your photos.
• You can even customize the captions on the game board.
• Get creative, you're going to need it.
